What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese healing technique that translates to mean “universal life energy”. Also known as Chi or Qi, this is the life force that flows within us and determines our state of health. We use Reiki to channel the body’s natural energy by means of light touch. It’s not a massage but a deep relaxation process that helps promote physical healing, clearing of the mind and emotions. It can even aid us with our process of self exploration and discovery - all helping to bring our body and mind into a balanced state of being. Reiki is great for short term stress reduction and relaxation but its beauty lies in the fact that it treats the whole person not just ones’ symptoms.
